How Much Do I Owe?

I savor the scene;
I savor the show;
It's sublime and serene -
How much do I owe?

What a beautiful day
I get to savor
With autumn on display!
It's a divine favor.

Sunlight is falling
And a breeze is blowing -
How enthralling!
What joy it's bestowing!

The sky is so blue
And trees so green -
What a view!
How serene!

A mockingbird is singing
Its heart out -
What joy it's bringing,
Without a doubt!

How does one learn to be grateful?

Let Nature be our Guru. The buds blossom, oceans change tides, trees change colors, sunrise and sunsets exhibit colors and beauty that surpass the skill of great artists...all we have to do is to behold that none of us had any part to play in all of these miracles happening around us.

Nature just does what it does whether anyone notices, marvels, appreciates or expresses gratitude; so unlike us humans who seek recognition, rewards and remuneration for our contributions....
