Similar Light Within

  All year long
I fussed and
Fumed about
The darkness.

I groped for
My shores but
Wrong I was,
Very wrong!
Though sane
And strong.

I feel thankful
To the wee wicks
Burning brightly
In the tiny lamps.
They remind me of
Similar light within.
