Ever Since My Birth

Ever since my birth,
I've been beholding
This drama unfolding
Here on planet earth.

Day in, day out,
This show keeps going,
This show keeps glowing,
Without a doubt.

By now I know
That on this stage,
Folks struggle for a wage,
Before they go.

Running around,
Joy they're seeking,
But they're freaking,
And fall to the ground.

If it weren't for you,
The magic you do,
I would too
Be feeling blue.
