The lonely cloud
Came daily in my yard
And asked me for bread
He said once he was rich
But then he became poor

One day I asked him
About his address....
And wonder! Never
Did he come thereafter
I still remember him
Even after scores of years

Many men came and asked me
For so many things
But I don’t remember
Their names at all
And this cloud but
Got stranded in my
Deep memories....
Just as my first love
