Like the dream of a caged bird
Embracing the sky of thoughts and space,
She wants to get lost in the coldest sands
Of darkness and dust.
Reluctant to wander -
Like a caravan lost in a misty night
Fearlessly gaping the stars above,
Too dull to twinkle...
Treading its path through the silent desert
As silent as a care-free prostitute,
Night after night succumbing to her destiny
Like an omen unread or misunderstood,
She drowns in the Currents of passion and youth
Encircling her mind and body
Waiting like a stream...
Whirling to collapse before its time
Freeing herself from all burdens and pressure
Like a pebble she sinks in this abysmal world
Of One Day Cricket - My Indian Cricket Team.
