A Gesture

With eyes closed I can now see
but not that long sighs reach me
and howling goes off in temerity.

For when the sky was reachable
through the shed of trees,
only roads were spotless, I walked.

And when hide and seek the Sun played
I fainted to recall the bleakest hour
between what to keep and let go away.

Here and now I adorn the miles' length
dreams in my eyes are settled
out there are but as ever stoic streets.
