No picture I have in fact
of myself with my father
sitting or playing
in his lovely lap,
or cuddled in his arms
nor his hands
holding my tiny fingers
on the way to the fairs.

Yet I have him in my words,
in my actions and deeds,
In my thoughts on life,
spirituality and metaphysics
as he alone has taught me
the philosophy of life,
I adore him more
In the sanctum sanctorum
of my being, my soul
he might not be knowing
even I don't know much
unable to fathom
or measure the depth
of how much he loves me
how much I love him
how much we love each other…
