This bank it breaks and builds one yonder
This game the river plays forever
In the morning one who was rich
By the evening he becomes a pauper
This game the river plays forever
Thinking it safe, by this river
O fool, you build your home
When it started to break
You found no raft to escape
Your body when it breaks
Is nothing but clay
And the same clay is made into a body
But the potter who does this
Nobody keeps his trace.
In the night in the theatre
One who plays the part of a king
In the morning he is found to beg along the street
And at last reaching the cremation ground
It is found
Everyone is made of clay
This game the river plays forever

Eternally all the world over.
