The Sun

In hues of pink and blue,
Dawn painted a scene,
A panoramic view
Sublime and serene.

Now the sun is out
On a morning so cold,
And without a doubt,
It's a joy to behold.

It's warmly caressing
My frozen face;
It's gently blessing
Me with its embrace.
