God's Ways

  Befuddled to hear
In a haze of horror
About the young man
Who had dreams to share
Every detail laid threadbare
To me the other day,
In past tense to my utter dismay!
How can winter spread the hue
Even when it is still not due?
Inscrutable are the ways of
God’s and Nature's plays!
