Surging Waves

We are waves surging and receding
In the ocean of eternal time
That perennially flows
From the past to the present
Carrying the matrix
Of essence of our actions,
Impregnated with fruits of moments
Lived, felt and smelt
On the experiential bed
Of our transient mundane existence.

Myriad seeds of deep realization -
Some sweet and some bitter
Are sown, seen or unseen,
Carried forward by one generation
To another, harvesting hope
And fruitful optimism in the cosmic field
Of the vast expanse of Continuum
Both creative and procreative
For the offspring of humanity,
Fragrant with virtues and values
Of all shades and all hues.

Future conceives all goodness,
Rearing healing hope in the blanket
Of the stark dark and despair,
Ejaculating bad stinks out and out
And a fresh morning is born anew
On the earthy, ethereal horizon,
With a new life, bright and brighter
Bubbling with ebullience
Of the flowing stream of eternal time.
