Helmeted heads
hardly ever harbor brains
seldom cohere with reason

Exultant swords stifle expression, liberty
daggers decree funeral of truth
the first casualty

Enthralled reason promulgates triumphs of truth
of reason
juices flow to feed creative soil
to grow tales

Subjugated muscles in brains
fabricate history

Weavers have for long fashioned
limpid camouflages
for emperors
