It takes the first crack of dawn
To refresh yourself with verve
Yet a man of steady brain and brawn
Only knows to keep the nerve.

As only during the time of sunset
It shows the ideal zest
Others but have to sadly regret
For failing in real test.

Often there is that vain pride
With which your success goes
With too much luck by your side
You forget to be on your toes.

Things turn against despair and hope
Just as the tortoise and the hare
The morning may give you the scope
Yet till dusk you need to care.
