The Journey of Life

A heavy sack on my shoulders,
On those very steep roads.
I try to speed up a bit,
But can't because of loads.

I cannot leave the sack,
It was made of my past deed.
Just because of this fact,
I can't get the needed speed.

I am taking this effect of mine
For being its very cause.
The distance is getting farther,
With each moment I pause.

Though the mindset is right,
Yet I have fallen way back.
Being on the right track now,
Not a moment I can slack.

In between the journey of destiny,
The fate is playing its game,
As with the cause and the effect
This life is limited to a time frame.
