Years gone by playing hide and seek,
I waited for you long,
To see you in the throng,
With your denial I too turned meek.

Now no one awaits your comeback,
My memory fades,
With thinner shades,
Eyes don't miss your forgotten track.

Ears don't miss your cute laughter,
Tears have turned dry,
Nothing left to try,
Now you are no longer sought after.
