Lamps In The Nights

The night in her loneliness
Seems to have lighted
Beauteous rows of the lamps
In her rivery courtyard.

The sky upholds a canopy
Of peace and the serene scene;
The hill raises his head high
Watching the flow in green.

The day is to be welcomed
With a celestial celebration
As he is carrying along
With many a precious gift—

Their lovely eyes all look up
Waiting in wintry fog and smog
For the morning rays to come
And kiss them cold to warm.
