Stars in sky jostle not for space
allow the sun to brighten the day
sharing dais with Diana, dance in mirth
grateful for nights spared for themselves.
Rolling breakers, perchance, inspire us
rushing feverishly, receding restlessly
never tired of kissing shingles on shore.
Unalloyed arrogance abrogates peace here!
Balmy bowers bloom bounteously
marigold, jasmine, roses envy not lotus.
Divine showers descend to delight
parched land, hungry stones, lofty peaks
graceful hill streams flow to merge
submerge, emerge as mighty rivers!
