Does true love ever exist in this world?
If so, why it has no place in many lives?
We think we know where our love lies
When we realize what it is, it turns
Too late to change or challenge

Love and lovers change from time to time
From school to college to office to family
We are so confused to identify
Where and when real love will
Emerge before us in pristine pure form

We fall in love with different people
During different times, Oh my God
Depending on the need and situations
Change them as we change our dress
Or do they change us for better ones?

Whatever be the fact, but I know
Real love is something like a mirage
It looks so near but as we move
The mirage also keeps moving away
Leaving us desperate and disillusioned

Let me tell one truth that is bitter
We never fully understand ourselves
Our priorities shift from time to time
To make us asking for more and more
Through whatever little we do

Have you ever watched yourself
Closely in the mirror without bias
Just try to do it at least once in your life
I am sure whether you accept my word or not
You are sure to be facing a Stranger in the Mirror
