Left in lurch aggrieved, bereaved
By the turbulent atmosphere
Around the houses of the reign
The country bemoans and laments

In her lap sobs with hiccups
None but democracy throttled
By outrageous democrats
In connivance with bureaucrats

Incessant tears fall unseen
In a state of mounds of affairs
In long wait to be wiped off
By the stewards of the nation

With perpetual perpetration
On the innocent mute throngs
By sadistic marauding gangs
Rapacious politics is blot-proof

Political sheet blood-stained
Blackened with blots of shame
Dries out spread in the sunburst
Amusing its grounded anarchy.

Silently crawl to their way
The cowardice crowds of people
Only to be kicked and whipped
Undressed by the men in power-
Those dressed in white khadi
And diabolical men in khaki

In a terrorized virulent environment
The plinth and pillars of democracy
Hauled, tilted with the system lorn
Hijacked harmony and peace mourn!
