Washed Ashore

Long-awaited dawn seems to have
Lost i
ts way somewhere
In the gloomy dusk demesnes
Of an unending night
Where only eerie silence prevails...

The darkness joins the dead night
In sinking the floating boat
Of the cherished bright morning
In the black waters of grief
Where the moaning moon mutters...

The sky, sullen, wears cloud caps
Over the death of dreams
In all the staring eyes
Badly blinded by the hard times
The earth is lost in the lamentation...

Most wishes are buried beneath
While rest of remains are
Washed ashore;
I silently watch the high tides
Dancing on the breast of the sea
And keep collecting pieces of my heart...
