It is something we used to possess,
long back in our lovely childhood,
but we lost it as we grew in this shrewd world,
to competitively struggle for our livelihood.

Whoever comes across it,
finds his heart filled with great pleasure,
Whenever one sees a baby's face,
one finds that infinite treasure.

Fair or dark, plump or skinny,
gorgeously dressed or in tatters,
the ever glowing light in a baby's eyes,
is the only thing that matters.

Not limited to human kids,
it is the asset of every young one,
let it be a puppy or a colt,
or even the cub of a fierce lion.

Their cute and bright eyes,
shine with a mysterious light,
which, in no time, spreads across,
a pleasant wave of bubbling delight.

All young ones in the world,
are the prettiest beings hence,
as they possess a great quality,
which is nothing else but Innocence.
