Independence Day

Independence is a gift,
It has in it 'divine beauty';
Let it ever live with us and
Now its safety is our duty.
Independence costs a lot,
Only it gives sense to breath;
It needs our sacrifices,
Toiling, task and faith;
It requires unity, honesty,
Perseverance and devotion;
It always needs hard work,
Bound with dedication.
Breaking the slave-shackle
Was not, at all, an easy job;
Traitors stabbed us hard,
Their masters had us to rob.
The unjust rulers missed
No chance to cut our heads,
They had hatred for us,
That resulted in bloodshed.
Our Independence Day,
Always teaches us to unite;
For the sake of independence,
We must be ever ready to fight.
