What Do I Seek?

I turn around...
Did you just call me?
Or in your abrupt thoughts
Did I like swelling waves
Fall and got carried in your
Words?

Every opened window
Pushes the voices in;
Cannot miss a word
In this shrinking world.
Emptiness fills my room.
Holding my ears
Still to the ground
What do I seek?

Hope or Dismay!
