The Uncertain Faces

A face as a kid
A face as a boy
A face as a youth
A face at middle age
A face as an oldie 

A face in my school
A face in college
A face in love
A face as husband
A face as father 

A face in my profession
A face of passion
A face of a friend
A face of an enemy
A face with dignity
A face in calamity

A face in success
A face in defeat
A face in energy
A face in pleasure
A face in pain   

In this ever changing world
Like the changing values
The changing faces of me
Are also a reality 

Which face is mine
Which feeling is mine
Which relationship is mine
Which parting is mine 

Don’t know how to express
I can’t express also
The time draws the face
As a painting of changing hues
Changes continue till we live 

Which is real, which is fake
Only one is the truth
The body and the face
Which we think we own
Is nothing but a fib!
