Panacea

When life seems all dull and grey
dip your brush in the colour of joy
and splash it across another’s sky
 
into the wind waft words of faith
on floating clouds pin bits of hope
let them drizzle onto another’s despair
 
paint butterflies’ wings with gratitude
to softly alight on careworn hands
and gently heal their wrinkly pain
 
shine the light of love on all around
lift up hearts in desperation sunk
then see life brighten on its own!
