War Memorial

The life that you lead or live in camouflage
Safeguarding the self or head of the nation
From the bad or evil eyes of the foes
All hidden within, or across the borders

The life that you live amidst the gun storms
For the peace, love and amenity inside
Or to rule the states and the nation alike
So that humanity and fraternity remain intact

Drops of sweat or blood you shed for the soil
For the eyes not to get flooded with tears
Constant death that you face at every step
Against warring counterparts, outside, inside

You live for us to live in peace by sacrificing
All that belongs to you or to your nation
You die for us only to live in our memories
Etched forever in the obelisk as War Memorial.
