Sunshine

O, that piece of sunshine

I await

With open arms of my window

Till the sun drops

Before it goes down to immerse in darkness.

My dark cold room

For a moment brightens,

Shines,

Smiles,

Sings

And then I suddenly

See it slipping out of its embrace

Again…

Pushing it down to that frozen world

For a long night,

Soaring pain,

Unending discomfort,

And the twinge that engulfs

My heart...my body...my room.
