Mom, your smile hides your pain of your endless efforts,
For nurturing me with all the luxuries and comforts.
Mom, I am indebted to you forever, for your every endeavour,
You are my role model, you are someone I deeply revere!

Mom, I miss you always, I can't even see you since it's a lockdown,
I can't go to meet you although we are in the same town,
Mom, please take care of yourself, I wish you a healthy, long life ahead,
Tell me something, how can you understand all my words unsaid?

Mom, I am so sorry for all my harsh words and mistakes,
I promise I will always be with you, whatever it takes.
Mom, please forgive my misbehaviors, I was such a fool,
Now I have learnt how to be kind, stay calm and cool!

Mom, your heart is the biggest and the kindest in the whole universe,
In every rebirth, in every journey, with you as my Mom, may I traverse.
Mom, I wish you all the world's happiness, as you deserve the best,
With your presence, my life is like a magical, joyful fest!

Comment I lost my mother many years back and I miss her still. While reading, I felt as if they are my words in many ways. I could never pen them down, the way you did. Thank you..
