The Bird That Could Fly

The bird that got separated,
From the rest of the flock,
Had absolutely no idea at all,
When that ship would dock.

The shore seemed way too far,
That its eyes could not even see.
It got caught in the middle,
Of that vast and deep blue sea.

With its two very strong wings,
And with all its strength,
It tried to reach the land,
But failed to cover the length.

It felt that the land was too far,
And it had to depend on that ship,
Despite the fact that it could fly,
The sea was too vast and too deep.

(The idea is taken from an example of a book of Ramakrishna Mission.)
