How destiny is molding

Its plans for every soul,

How events are unfolding,

And taking me to my goal,

Is truly amazing,

And hard to explain—

Life is raising

Questions beyond my brain.

Am I reaping

What I’m sowing?

Is someone keeping

A log and bestowing?

What laws of life

I need to obey,

To repel strife,

And walk safely today?

Is life playing

A game of chance

Or is fate saying

It controls the dance?

How do I find out

The truth behind,

And dispel doubt

From my mind?
