So little time
So much to do,
For a little help
I reach out to you

You have your life
A busy schedule,
Full house to manage
No time to fool

There's this to do
So much of that,
To cook and sew
And wash and pat

Hard-pressed for time
To manage all,
Winter to spring
Then summer till fall

Knowing fully well
I still persist,
Load you with problem
In tiny bits

I'm sorry my dear
I'm getting old,
A firm hand I need
Like yours to hold

With trembling hands
And unsure gait,
Lead me patiently
Till sunsets gate.
