My Song1.jpg
  There's a song in my heart
That my lips will not sing
tremulous they await
some wizardly strain
So let the trance begin
With the sorcery of your flute
Inebriate my heart, my soul
Resurrect my song
tease it out of its confines
bait it with the lure of love
Like a gentle lover's kiss
let it alight, petal-soft
on the notes you waft
and from their mingling
let there be no parting
for song and singer
melody and music maker
must glow as one
the loved and the lover
as a sacred flame must burn
