Transformation On The Heels Of Crisis

Transformation came

as it usually does

on the heels of crisis.

With all of the upheavals

and protests going on

throughout the world

we must take comfort

in the fact that

change will come.

Nothing is permanent,

everything coalesces

into something new,

improved, superior, better.

It takes sacrifice,

persistence, endurance,

patience and compassion

to reach these goals

and we must continue

with actions that rattle

the foundations of

the totality around us.
