How a creeper
Still climbs
On unfavorable ground!

When flowers no longer blossom,
Winter holds with needle ant’s teeth,
Dream at faintest light
Crawls up to the ceiling

But to fall again,

Years roll
For a hammer’s deadliest blow,
Seeking hands…. Fingers
Ripped up
Lie in a pool of blood
In immense pain.

Deep blue ocean rises,
Swells,
And goes wild
But then turns
Into a freezing stone!

Yet a window opens
Sometimes
To see
How well she is keeping!
