Mother and Child
A symbol ages old
But still has the charm
To palpitate the heart
That can never grow old.
The suckling child
At the mother’s breast
Creates a throbbing
That can never grow cold.
A long wailing cry,
The mother cuddles the child
Croons and silences the child-
No! It's just impossible
For it is a secret no one can unravel
A mystery no one can solve
The tie between the ‘mother and child’!
