Your Lute

When my heart throbbed
To the music of your lute
Colourful flowers bloomed
Making me mute.
I praise the Lord
For the pleasures he rained
With his heavenly blessings
All in my name.
In the dusk of the evening
A shivering bloom flickered
A thorn undue bickered,
Yet, fighting the bloom glittered.
Lord, let your lute play
Letting the spring splay.

Comment Beautiful imagery and the invocation to the Lord to play the lute for divine music for Nature and humans to enjoy divine bliss make this poem sweet to read and muse!
