Hobson's Choice

Have you ever experienced

The test of standing at crossroads?

Every one might have, I think

Believe me I never had because

I had the experience of

Standing in a road

Without any direction

Not once but many times

Even the direction had been

Only one with no choices

Good or bad I had to travel

In that single path

Looking for something to

Give me satisfaction

Even if it is not happiness

But, I defeated the fate

By developing a liking

For the passage I had to travel

Life is so strange which

Provides some with

Several choices and

Leaves many with

Hobson's Choice!

But I am satisfied

Because I made it

My happy choice!

We cannot adjust the world; but we can adjust ourselves to the world as that is best choice or policy!
