Ire and Fire

When mind and blood are infected
Injected by viruses of wanton politics,
Anarchy rules the roost,
Inhumanity ruins the heart;
Law hides its eyes behind the back
As screams flare up from the pyre.

When monster of corruption gobbles
The system, society and its people,
Humanity loses its beauty
And compassion dies!
When suffering exceeds the limit
Even weak ire sets the strong on fire.

Comment Politics and corruption are too much to bear leaving no choice but to fire the strong by ire!
