Theme: Lord

Nothing

I am nothing
Nothing without you-
To search for you
Is the aim of my life
And to attain you
Seems to be the goal of life.
But it seems impossible
To find your elusive self
For you disappear into nothingness-
As soon as I have a
Glimpse of you, my Lord
I'll absorb you within me
So that I become
A celestial being
Instead of being a nothing.

Comment Peter Levi writes somewhere that " Poetry is the naked exercise of the Entire Man."
When All Our Senses are in Full Play and Thrillingly Attuned, maybe we can Triangulate the Presence of God. Some set out in search of God, while others wait for the Spring to Come And the Grass to Grow by Itself.
Both Approaches Are Valid. What is Beautiful is The Journey and the Antiquity of Man's Waiting, The Beauty of his Tenacity.

You start and end with :
I Am Nothing
Instead Of Being Nothing.
Even your Elusive God Disappears into Nothingness.

Worth Pondering. Because, sometimes what Encapsulates, here, your opening and closing lines, becomes the Key to The Existential Dilemma the rest of the Poem Seeks To convey.
Enjoyed your Poem.
