Without You

Mother Nature giving

Another day for living

With a nice ocean breeze

That's trying to please,

Sunlight falling,

Seagulls calling,

Yet without you,

I feel so blue.

The sea washing my feet

With its rhythmic beat,

Its gentle waves lapping,

As if they're clapping,

And the surf on the sand

All seem to demand

Why, without you,

I walk without clue.

The gulls around me

Can perhaps see

That I'm ignoring

All their outpouring,

Not even photographing

Them loudly laughing,

Because without you,

What's there to do?
