Remembering Him On Gandhi Jayanti

Gandhi,
I didn't know him,
Nor did I understand him,
But instead of
The portrait of his
Overshadowing me,
I'm moving under
His reflection.

On Gandhi Jayanti
When he was,
When he's not,
How's it different

The old man as a votary
Of truth, non-violence and peace,
A worshipper of satya, ahimsa and shanti.
