Poem from Within

  Summoned by desire
you come
but come in fleeting time capsules
and fragmented
the shy smile, the thin arms
the sensitive wrist, not quite a man's
holding hands that have yet to dominate
fingers moving...
as would a spider spinning a web
wrapping and tangling me up
eyes sunk deep in dark crescents of wonder
and searching with a focus
too intense for me to meet

A sharp arrow that pierces
a sudden gasp from within
you must leave soon now
