Commemorating the birth

Of the Hindu god Ganesha

With so much glee and festivity,

The bringer of good luck,

Dispeller of obstacles

And every worship of ours

Beginning with an invocation

Of his benediction,

Bounty, blessing and bliss,

Without which none can thrive

So indicative of

Shubha (auspicious) Labha (profit),

Om Ganeshaay Namo Namaha

Let Ganesha be with us,

Come and let us do his aarti

Let us pray for his benediction and blessing!

(This year, Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated on 31st August, 2022.)
