Standing in the waters
Early in the morning
To offer prayers and oblations
To the rising sun
And to the retreating sun
In utter submission with humility
Praying to cleanse the heart
To be absolved of sin
Seeking blessing
From the primordial source of energy
With which the world arises
And closes.
