She Sings

She sings
And her voice reaches the air
Unfurling like the wings of a bird before flight

She plays
Her guitar, and in my heart
Which was silent and dark, there is suddenly light

Her words
Are muffled, I hear them not
Yet the notes and the chords are enough to delight

She sings
And I feel pulled towards her
By a feeling I can neither explain nor fight
