Seeking Liberty

Yearning to be free,

Fighting suppression,

Fighting oppression,

Seeking liberty,

People are crying,

People are detesting,

People are protesting,

People are dying

In many lands today;

I admire their resistance;

With global assistance,

People will have their say.

The Soul of man yearns for freedom.

Until such time as when individuals, rulers and governments grant this basic human right to the people they govern, the protests are a sign that people are awakening to their true identity.
