Five years we shared
Studying at IITD—
Five years which prepared
Us with an engineering degree.
Our friendship grew;
Our time together we celebrated,
And before we knew,
One day we graduated.
We parted company,
Tried to stay in touch,
But each other we couldn't see,
So our interaction wasn't much.
Still, little did we know
We would never meet again;
Death would steal you—
Now only your memories remain.
You played your roles
On earth with ease;
May your souls
Rest in peace.
