At a gathering of UFO enthusiasts
in distant Mexico
boasting of an ancient past,
they displayed, it is said,
three cadavers preserved
of aliens who perished
several centuries ago.
They had only three fingers
on each hand,
unlike humans who have five;
that made the story credible.
Yet, why all this hullabaloo?
After all, they were no better
than us humans,
for both perish,
every second, sadly change
till the final erasure by time.
Aliens are like us,
nothing at all outlandish!
Let us return
to our mundane worries
and win illusory accolades.
