The Palash Trees

I can see them

Adorning the highlands,

The hills and forests of the plateau

As the flame of the forest

And they looking bright orange

The canopies, the fringes high above

The landscape

Looking colourfully hued

And charming

With the clusters of

Florid, ornate

And wild palash blooms,

But almost bereft of leaves...
