Almighty creates human beings
With wisdom and prowess for reasoning
But only a few consider utilizing
These inborn traits effectively.
Many people without making
Use of these skills, are feeling
That they are not worthy of anything.
The majority of people are underutilising
Their talents, in this context I am remembering
A tale of a rabbit and a porcupine embarking
On a jolly trip, Rabbit picked up a stick lying
On the ground, and happened to see apples hanging
On an apple tree, by using
The stick, the rabbit started plucking
Some apples, after satiating
Their hunger they were continuing
Their trip and on their way seeing
Sweet potato vines they started digging
For potatoes and enjoyed eating
Them, after some respite, they were continuing
Their adventure. On their way, they had to pass along creeping
Plants. They cleared the path, making
Use of the stick. The porcupine started feeling
That the stick was an absolute magic wand and started requesting
The rabbit to hand over the stick to him, that the rabbit was throwing
In the air. The porcupine was annoyed at the way the rabbit was dispensing
The magic stick. The rabbit remarked that it had no magical powers for performing
Any extraordinary act but using this stick cleverly was helping
Them to meet their needs. The explanation from the rabbit was astonishing.
It is high time that we come out of our cocoons and start recognising
Our ability to capitalize on the opportunity whenever it is arising. |
